On our small group graded walking holidays you'll have an expert tour leader to guide the walks and show you the must-see highlights, as well as the hidden gems off the beaten track. On more remote or challenging treks our leaders will be supported by additional guides and support crew, making sure you remain safe and well looked after throughout your trip.
 

As well as the planning the best route, we'll also organise the accommodation and luggage transfers for your trip, so all you need to do is walk and enjoy the journey, knowing we've sorted the logistics so you can experience the very best of your chosen destination.
 

How difficult are our Walking tours?
Each of our Walking trips has a difficulty grade, so you can find the best trip based on your requirements and activity levels. For people going on their first walking holiday, or who want to slow down and explore a destination at a comfortable pace, we offer leisurely and moderate paced tours. If you're looking to challenge yourself with a hike or trek, we offer challenging to tough graded trips. These hikes include bucket list treks like Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest peak, the Inca Trail – the four-day route to Machu Picchu and Mount Toubkal - the tallest mountain in North Africa’s Atlas range.

How does a small group walking holiday work?
We offer different types of walking trip. Some walking and hiking trips are point-to-point, moving to a new place each night as you follow your route across a region, while others are single centre-based, with one hotel serving as your base for a series of day walks, so you experience each destination's highlights without carrying your luggage between hotels every day. Many of our trips include a selection of the very best walks in the areas you visit. 

How can I prepare for a walking holiday?
We recommend that you do some training and ensure you’re comfortable with long walks before you set off – how much training you need will depend on the grade of the trip you’re travelling on. Closer to your departure you’ll want to start thinking about what to pack, and what snacks and equipment you might need.
